The city promenade of the "Dream Islands" became the best retail project according to the RCSC 2018 Awards

The members of the jury of the professional award RCSC Awards have chosen the best shopping centers and retail projects of this year – the city promenade of the "Dream Islands" has won two victories – in the nomination "Project at the stage of realization" in the category "Superregional", and also received a special prize as an international scale project in Moscow.

The RCSC Awards is the only professional award in Russia for shopping centers, comprehensively assessing facilities in terms of management level, technical operation, B2B activities, B2C promotion and economic model. The honorable victory of the "Dream Island" in two nominations became possible to a unique architectural solution developed by the world's leading architectural bureaus Chapman Taylor, a thoughtful retail concept of the city promenade and modern technologies used in construction. The brokerage of the project is carried out jointly with the international company Colliers International.

RCSC Awards were not the first professional achievement of the project. In 2017, "Dream Island" won several Russian and international awards: "The Best Project in the field of commercial real estate" according to the federal prize PROESTATE AWARDS 2017, the best project in the nomination "Public areas" in the competition Good Innovations 2017, as well as the victory in the regional stage of the prestigious international award European Property Awards in the category Leisure Development. 

The total area of ​​the covered part of the "Dream Island" is 292 thousand square meters and includes the first in Russia theme park and city shopping promenade. The interior space of the retail zone will be implemented in a new format with full attributes of any city – streets, alleys, sidewalks, real three-story buildings with huge showcases and a central square the size of a football field with one of the largest cinemas in 17 halls and a concert hall.
The main idea of the trade zone is to create a recognizable atmosphere of famous capitals, in which visitors will feel as comfortable as possible, walking along the cozy streets of European cities. More than 100 unique facades for buildings, wide sidewalks, fountains, gardens and bridges have been developed for the promenade – all without which it is impossible to imagine modern urban space. Comfortable walking atmosphere allows you to increase the time spent by customers, reduces stress and increases the number of regular visitors.

The street space will accommodate more than 200 shops, structures of different price segments, as well as about 50 restaurant concepts of different formats from family restaurants to self-service food courts. According to the profile of the currently submitted applications from tenants, almost half of the shopping area refers to clothing stores of different price segments, another 21% – restaurants and cafes, 15% – children's products.  Brands are predominantly represented by medium + (31%) and mass market (69%).

A survey by Colliers International showed that "Dream Island" will be the most visited Park in Moscow. Together with the landscape Park, the attendance of the project will reach 50 million people a year. The project will attract not only Russians, but also tourists and residents of the CIS and Eastern Europe. The total coverage for the Park is 349 million people.
